After an incredibly difficult 2020, and with the prospect of a very different Christmas in store for all this year, we are launching our Faith, Hope & Love Christmas Appeal on #GivingTuesday.

Christmas can be a difficult time for young people and families when it should be a time for celebration and love. Sadly, this is not the case for many including the children, young people and families who come to TIC+ for support. They can find this time of year adds to the pressures already being felt in relation to their mental health and wellbeing. This, added to the enormous challenges presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic this year, will result in many young people and their families enduring a whole host of mental health issues including anxiety, loneliness and distress, that can impact negatively on their mental health in the short and longer term.

After such a tough year we’re holding on to three things here at TIC+… Faith, Hope and Love.

Faith… that we will all come through this

Hope… that the vulnerable young people we help and support will survive and somehow even thrive despite everything

And Love – because love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Let’s face it, we could all do with a little bit of all three to see us through this difficult year.

You can watch our Faith, Hope & Love video made specially for the campaign here.

Could you help us to help children and young people get the help and support they need?

£7.50 will enable us to answer the call to a young person next year.

£25 covers the cost of an online licence

£56 pays for a counselling session – you may feel that you can do one of these three things?

Thank you for your continued support this year and always – we couldn’t do what we do without you.

In faith, hope & love
