About the course
This course aims to help you recognise signs and symptoms of autism spectrum disorder and to become familiar with the diverse spectrum of behaviours, abilities and differences. It will help you to explore some of the theories about the causes of autism and dispel the myths and stereotypes … The trainer adapts to what is coming up from the audience and can emphasise certain areas. It is appropriate for anyone who works with people on the autism spectrum. A large part of the training is about communication, how to do this and how the person may respond differently. Also about tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
