On 9th & 10th July 2022 fundraising hero Kerry is running her first ever ultra-marathon – Race to the Stones – 100k across the ridgeway finishing at the Avebury Stones, all to raise money for TIC+.
Alongside this amazing achievement Kerry felt she needed to give back to a charity who gives so much to the young people of Gloucestershire. Kerry believes TIC+ listens to young people in a way that makes them feel accepted, safe, and valued so they can say what’s on their mind and be really listened to without the fear of being judged.
During 2021, which was undoubtedly the hardest year of Kerry’s life, the year where her middle name unofficially became resilience, she decided she needed something to prove anything is possible with enough determination. She’s not an athlete and is juggling running with being a single mum to her teenage son, working full time and being a student. What an absolute superstar! Huge thanks to Kerry for taking on this huge challenge.
Kerry would really appreciate any donations to help support young people to take on resilience as their middle name too.
