Our fabulous staff member Charlee is taking on a huge challenge to fundraise for TIC+. Not content with spending her time working for TIC+, Charlee is also dedicating her own and family time toward racking up the kilometres to support our work and help more young people in Gloucestershire.
To coincide with National Walking Month this May, Charlee is aiming to walk 100k over the course of the month. May is also exam time when many of our young people feel stress and anxiety at the thought of exams and their future. This stress is something that Charlee feels she can identify with, and the kind of support TIC+ offers to young people is something that Charlee wishes was available when she was doing her exams.
Charlee is planning to integrate walking into her everyday activity with her children, as well as plans for some longer walks like climbing The Sugar Loaf or walking parts of the Malvern Circle route.
Accompanied by her children and a number of friends and colleagues, Charlee is hoping to raise lots of money towards the ongoing cost of delivering mental health support and counselling to children and young people in Gloucestershire.
