About me
Hello, My name is Sarah, although I am often called Saz.
I love the outdoors, planting and growing vegetables. I find a lot of comfort being in the country, I enjoy scenic walks, taking in nature and watching the birds. I enjoy creative activities and design nails in my spare time. I also enjoy reading fantasy and biographical books.
Training Qualifications and Experience
I qualified in 2015 with a Foundation degree in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling, I also have a Masters Degree in Psychology and I am continuing to improve my practice with relevant and up to date training. I have experience working with children and adults, and have worked in the support sector offering additional support to those with special needs.
Therapies Offered
The Core of my practice is a person centred one, I hold congruence and empathy in the highest regard and strive for unconditional acceptance of each individual. I believe that we all have the capacity to achieve our full potential given the right environment to explore and grow in.
My overall approach is eclectic where I draw on different therapeutic approaches where appropriate, keeping focus on the relationship at the core and building trust to become the best people we can be.
Membership of a professional Body
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) www.bacp.co.uk and work within their ethical framework of good practice; providing a safe, friendly, confidential and professional service.
